Steven C. Weissfeld, MD

Dr. Weissfeld received his AB degree in Chemistry, Magna Cum Laude, from Miami University, followed by his MD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Akron City Hospital and Akron Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He was the first Visiting Resident in Orthopedic Traumatology at the University of Washington, Harborview Medical Center. Dr. Weissfeld has been Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery since 1984.

He served for a number of years in a clinical teaching capacity at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Dr. Weissfeld is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Florida Medical Association. He has been engaged in the active practice of Orthopedic Surgery since 1982.

He has had an interest in Complementary Medicine for over a decade and has utilized many of these techniques, methods and products in the treatment of his patients. He is very enthused and excited about the incredible possibilities to help people participate in the development and maintenance of their own wellness.
